The “Little Dragons” children’s classes are for kids from about 5 to 14 years old. Kids have fun, get exercise and learn discipline and basic self-defence. Classes are taught by senior instructor Yumi Nakamura, 6th dan. Classes are held Sundays from 4 to 5 p.m.

The cost is $105 for three months, plus $20 for annual membership in the Canadian Aikido Federation. Each child must have a gi (uniform) and pair of sandals or slippers for use in the dojo.

Gis can be ordered through the dojo at a cost of approximately $50, depending on size.
